Team Description
Sabre is seeking a talented Technical Manager to support the Observability Teams.
This position will be responsible for managing 2 small teams centered around Monitoring and Observability. One team supports a commercial monitoring tool, and the other team manages and develops an internal custom application.
Role and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
Understands the technology in use, so as to challenge the team in their decisions
Designs, plans, develops and improves applications using routine and advanced technology
Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques
Encourage high coding standards, using best practices and high quality
Regularly interacts with subordinate supervisors, architects, product managers, HR, on matters concerning projects, or team performance. Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship
Provides technical mentorship and cultural/competency-based guidance to teams
Provides larger business/product context. Mentors on specific tech stacks/technologies
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Minimum 4 years of related experience
Advanced English level both verbal and written
Good knowledge of Monitoring / Observability, with prior experience with Monitor too
Experience in managing teams
Knowledge of cloud based tech/languages, technology stacks, etc.
Degree in Computer Science/ equivalent certifications
Ability to communicate at different levels, from Executives to Developers, and across departmental teams
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Self-disciplined and commitment oriented
