Tasks and Responsibilities
Act as an integral part of the global network team, providing support and services during North American business hours.
Work outside normal business hours as required to meet business needs.
Handle support and escalation activities received through support tickets, automated monitoring systems, and user reports.
Plan and enforce network and security standards across the infrastructure.
Think globally, working collaboratively across different departments and geographies.
Foster teamwork by respecting diverse backgrounds and cultural differences to drive results.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or IT/Network-related certifications (e.g., CCNP and CCIE preferred).
Advanced level of English, both written and spoken.
10 to 15 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle design, engineering, configuration, and administration of routers and switches, firewalls, multi-segment networks, and MPLS WANs.
Experience in data center networking.
Expertise in handling critical incidents, diagnosing network failures, and performing root cause analysis.
Ability to lead network projects, work with cross-functional teams, and communicate technical solutions to stakeholders.
Proficiency in various networking protocols and technologies: HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, VPN (IPSec/SSL), TCP/IP stack, FTP, TFTP, SMTP, IEEE Standards, QoS, VoIP (H.323, SIP), OSPF, MPLS, ACLs, eBGP/iBGP, 802.1D/W, Policy-Based and Static routing, Fibre Channel over Ethernet, VRF, and Virtual Device Contexts.
Advanced understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 network design, including switching, routing, and segmentation.
Advanced skills in traffic prioritization, bandwidth allocation, and reducing network congestion.
Knowledge of WAN optimization and SD-WAN technologies.
Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting routing and switching infrastructure for enterprise environments.
Advanced switching concepts, including Spanning Tree Protocol, VLANs, MPLS, and EtherChannel.
Advanced knowledge of core routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
Experience in firewall configurations, access control lists (ACLs), and VPN technologies.
Proficiency in network security policies, traffic filtering, encryption methods, and threat management (e.g., IDS/IPS and security protocols like IPSec).
Ability to identify and resolve network issues at all layers (from physical to application).
Experience using advanced troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, Cisco IOS diagnostics, NetFlow, and others.
Ability to produce high-quality documentation, including network diagrams, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Knowledge of industry best practices, standards (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, or ISO/IEC 27001), and compliance requirements.

Work Modality
Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.|Hybrid.
