Management Accountant

Main Purpose
Trafigura is a leading commodities group, owned by its employees and founded over 30 years ago. At the heart of global supply, Trafigura connects vital resources to power and build the world. Preparation of Clean Trial Balance (Local & Group) for Trafigura entities.Support accounting, cost and reporting processes including GL entries, accruals, reconciliations, analyses and monthly group reporting.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the accounting field.
- Advanced Excel skills/pivot tables.
- Results Oriented. Meet deadlines on assignments.
- Flexible and proactive attitude.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Independent team player with good communication skills – verbal and written in both Spanish and English.
- Ability to use multiple systems at once.
- Eager to learn and adapt to different teams in a fast-paced working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of reports of all types.
- Provide support in Trial Balance preparation for reporting purposes.
- Data management control to make sure we comply with our data accuracy standards.
- Reconciliation tasks that may imply thorough analysis, and discussion with other areas and external third parties.
- Documentation of work processes and identification of inefficiencies and improvement options where possible.
- Performance and follow up of administrative tasks to provide support to the area.
- Provide support on system / software developments, testing and implementation phases.
- Ability to adapt to provide support in ad-hoc tasks (document support, audit requirements).
