Business Developer

Tasks and Responsibilities
Assist and undertake initiatives in cooperation with the local Managing Director and senior leadership for product development and sales activities, as well as establish contact with new and existing clients and feeders.
Build, maintain, and measure the success of the feeder network across all lines of business in the Americas region.
Collaborate in the development of high-impact informational and promotional materials for the business in cooperation with senior leadership and the Marketing & Communications team.
Engage in contacts and (video) calls with new potential clients and feeders, with a proactive approach focusing on wealth planning and intergenerational wealth transfer for private clients.
Assist in managing regional and local implementation projects for their transition into business-as-usual operations.
Work with the Marketing & Communications team to support Citco’s brand positioning initiatives through industry events and conferences, as well as Citco-hosted or co-hosted events.
Assist in the preparation and execution of a Periodic Business Development and Sales Plan for the Americas region.
Maintain an updated record of potential clients and prospects, updating the Business Development & Sales pipeline and focusing on key strategic opportunities.
Increase Citco’s brand awareness by working alongside the company’s public relations agents.
Coordinate the preparation of RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and new business proposals for management.
Assist in creating, maintaining, and promoting product-related branding and marketing materials.
Support and evaluate contributions to the Business Development & Sales function, focusing on sales activity, revenue forecasting, profitability, and more.
Identify and report to the local Managing Director and senior leadership any risks associated with the Business Development & Sales process and cycle.
Maintain effective lines of communication with the Managing Director and senior management, reporting and escalating any concerns.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Management, International Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
At least 4 years of experience as a corporate and financial service provider in the areas of private, corporate, and multinational clients.
Experience and affinity for sales and business development activities.
Proficiency in all MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) and other relevant software packages.
Strong communication skills, with negotiation and presentation capabilities.
Professional proficiency in English (mandatory); Portuguese is a plus.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Proven record of initiative and commitment to responsibilities.
Ability to escalate issues when appropriate.
Experience in building and maintaining relationships at all levels.
Proven track record in a relevant role.
Work Modality
Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.|On Site.
