Trade Finance Analyst

Role Purpose:
To provide efficient finance operations and risk management for our bulk trading activities.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, International Business, or Business Administration, and at least 2 years of experience in a trading company or financial institution, with knowledge of trade finance instruments. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency in Excel, and an advanced level of English. The ideal candidate is accurate, highly numerate, team-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
You will ensure timely processing of cargo payments and manage cash positions with banks. You'll work closely with internal Finance and Operations teams to align logistics with financial and risk considerations, liaise with banks to finance transactions and respond to their queries, and manage exposure, release and stock. Responsibilities also include bank reconciliations, reviewing reporting data for accuracy, authorizing sales only after security is in place, reviewing contracts from a financial perspective, and preparing various internal and external reports. You’ll handle shipping documents and keep internal systems updated with relevant trade finance information.
